AthensBorn Birth Services LLC
We joyfully support all families in meeting their own feeding goals. We offer classes, prenatal education, and clinical (IBCLC) lactation consultations. Support is offered at our cozy office, on our secure virtual platform, and in homes for families in Athens Clarke County, as well as parts of Oconee and Oglethorpe Counties. Most insurance plans accepted, private pay and sliding scale available.

Northeast Health District WIC Program
WIC Provides free nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and benefits for nutritious foods for pregnant/postpartum individuals, infants, and children to age 5 years old living at or below 185% of the federal poverty line. Support for WIC participants includes breastfeeding classes and support groups, IBCLC outpatient consultations, and in-home support with Peer Counselors or Certified Lactation Counselors, breast pump supplies and breastfeeding aids.

Piedmont Athens
Breastfeeding Support Group is led by an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). Bring baby and get support with latch positioning, maintaining milk supply, troubleshooting, and pumping. In group, we discuss the challenges and successes of the breastfeeding journey. There is no charge for this group, but registration is needed to reserve a spot.

In order to be considered for a listing, the following criteria must be met. All requests will be reviewed by the Executive Board.
Must offer a lactation-based service or support for expecting or postpartum families.
Must be an active member of the Athens Community Breasting Coalition.
Must be located in Athens-Clarke County or a bordering county.
